The Resume
Hello! Welcome to Mychael Miller.com's unfinished web page. I've resigned myself to
the fact that this page is never going to be "finished". Please feel free to download my
resume here or up in the table of contents. I would however recommend you
check out the
Dynamic Resume (a much easier and informative read!), via the link here or above. I am currently
working as Lead Cinematic Artist/Designer/Artist for Midway but would love to hear about your project
that's seeking an ART DIRECTOR, LEAD ARTIST, OR SENIOR ARTIST in any field from
CHARACTERS TO ENVIRONMENTS. Please download my resume for more information on
completed projects and past work experience! Thank you!
The Show Reel
Not for the faint of heart or low of bandwidth, the show reel demonstrates my
wide-spectrum of abilities as an artist with character animation, both high-res,
pre-rendered cinematics from Silent Hill 2 and Algernon, and low-res in-game
characters, such as those used in Frogger: The Great Quest. Character modeling
is also a passion of mine and you'll see some of my better works, ranging from
high-res characters in Algernon to low-res (3000 and 4000 polygon game models)
used in such projects as RFL: Real Football League and MotoX, both Konami titles.
RFL in particular used realistic models based on actual people while MotoX took
advantage of more stylized characters. I am comfortable doing both!
Note: For my most recent work, please check out the "LATEST UPDATES" section!
Hi-Res WMV (1500Kbps Recommended only if you have god-like bandwidth)
Medium-Res WMV (100-750Kbps Recommended for most high-speed connections)
SuperLow Res WMV (Recommended *ONLY* if bandwidth-challenged)
Large Format RealMedia (Good Overall speed and quality)
Small Format RealMedia (Good Overall speed and quality)

The Additions
Not shown on these reels, but available for download nonetheless is an example of
one of the look-and-feel environment tests I produced as Art Lead on the
Nitrocity project at Midway Games West (formerly Atari but sadly now formerly there at
all). It represents the "Redlight District" and is zipped for "quick" download.

Animation Tests for Frogger: The Great Quest while at Konami. These were a portion of the end
of level cinematic for the "Mr. GP" boss fight. These use in-game models produced by other members
of the team. All Animation is mine and keyframed using 3D Studio MAX 3.1 and Character Studio's Biped. The accompanying storyboard is in the portfolio section.

The Portfolio
My sketchbook/portfolio is available for online viewing. At this early stage in the development
of the site, I have not put up thumbnails, but expect to see them some day. The images range
from "sketches" to final drawings as well as stills from pre-rendered cinematics and films. A
section of real-time character and environment renders (Hardware, not Pre-rendered) are also
available and will be updated as time permits.
The Rest
As any online artist, my work is my livelihood. It goes without saying, but unforunately
needs to be said every once in a while, that everything here is copyright and solely owned
by Mychael Miller.
