Chateau Art Test
Another Art Test, this one in Maya 6. Specs were to create a 5000 tri building from concept art with a 2500 tri LOD using 3 1024x1024 textures or any combination of smaller textures that added up to that. Spec, Bump, and Color maps could be used. I started conservative but found as I wrapped up, I was a bit too conservative and only used half of the texture space. Just for kicks, I might go back and fill it out entirely, but for now, this suffices. The original piece of reference art. Instructions were to follow it as closely as you prefer, keeping in mind the basic structure and shape but adding whatever details you'd like. Jpegs of non-overlapping UV Layouts were also required.
